Payments can be made online or over the phone using a credit or debit card. We also accept cheques made payable to A. SPEED LTD.

Full Payment is required if your holiday is booked within 8 weeks of the start date. Holidays booked in advance require a deposit of £200, the balance is due 8 weeks before the start date.

If you need to cancel your holiday for any reason, please inform us as soon as possible and we will endeavour to re-let the property. If we can re-let the property, we will refund your payment less a £50.00 administration charge. If we are unable to re-let the property, no refund will be made without prior agreement. We recommend you take out your own holiday insurance.

Please note: the number of people and pets may not exceed those stated at the time of booking.

Pets are welcome at Golden Acre Holiday Park, Eype, free of charge. At Fisherman’s Daughter, up to 3 pets are welcome at a charge of £20.00 per pet. On both sites, pets must have up to date vaccinations and flea treatment completed, prior to arrival.

We ask our guests to keep the premises, furniture and fittings in the same state of repair and condition as at the start of your holiday. If you find any damage on arrival, please report it to reception.

For the safety of all our guests, we ask that pets are kept on a lead and the park is kept clean.

Large Dorset Hamper upgrade available: Let us spoil you with champagne and flowers on arrival, fresh fruit and a large Dorset Hamper. Please contact us for details and please advise any allergies.

Grocery Deliveries: For your convenience, major supermarket online orders can be delivered to Golden Acre & Fisherman’s Daughter: Asda, Co-Op, Morrisons, Sainsbury & Tesco. There are several supermarkets in Bridport. Morrisons has a superstore 1.5 miles down the road from the park. Or try www.parsleyboxcom for larder to microwave meals delivered to your bungalow.

Linens packs are included in the price of holiday bookings made in 2021 Kitchen equipment is provided as is free Wi-Fi, utilities and on-site parking, in allocated bays. Two parking bays provided for larger two-bedroom properties.

Golden Acre is a Non-Smoking Site:  No smoking policy throughout the park and inside all lodges and entrance lobbies.

On site Recycling facilities – Paper/Card, Plastics, Glass, Cans and General Waste Bins are found near Reception. Larger facilities are available at nearby Morrisons car Park.

Grocery deliveries: All major supermarkets deliver to our park, please advise us if your delivery is arriving before your check-in time.

At Golden Acre we ask our guests to please keep the premises, furniture and fittings in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of your holiday. If you find any damage on arrival please report it immediately to our reception. We ask you to leave the premises in the same state of cleanliness and general order in which they were found.

The peaceful village of Eype does not have any street lights so we recommend you bring a torch!

Privacy Statement

Golden Acre Holiday Bungalows (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates www.golden-acre.com, booking System and Database.

This page informs you of our policies regarding what types of Personal Data we collect from you, how it is used by us, how we share it with others, how you can manage the Personal Data we hold and how you can contact us.

We only use your Personal Data for the purpose for which it has been collected for, and in particular for the following reasons:

We will never share, sell or rent your Personal Data to any third parties.

Data Access

Data Retention

Your Personal Data is retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes of the Service. Any Personal Data submitted through this Service, is stored by the Service host’s secure UK based data centre.

The only exceptions to the periods mentioned above are where:

The governing law requires us to hold your Personal Data for a longer period or delete it sooner.

You exercise your right to have the Personal Data erased (where it applies) and we do not need to hold it in connection with any of the reasons permitted or required under governing law.

Third Party Data Retention:

We use selected third-party companies to provide software that does hold your data. All activities/functions performed by these third parties are under the direct instruction of Golden Acre Holiday Bungalows, and they in turn have their own Privacy Policies.

Data Termination

You have the ‘right to be removed’. If you would like us at anytime to delete your Personal Data we will gladly do so, simply email us at mail@golden-acre.com and we will delete all the Personal Data we hold about you and anything else that is associated with you. However, please note that if you use any of our services which require you to provide Personal Data, deleting our records may mean that you will need to resubmit it to continue using such services.

External Payment Providers

Our external payment gateway are processed by:

Sage Pay Europe Limited.

This gateway provide us with online payment platforms that allows us to handle services offered by us.

Our external payment provider complete your purchase, then store your credit card data. Data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All Direct Payment Gateway adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, and other card providers.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
