Golden Acre is a small peaceful self catering, private coastal lodge park and is probably the most ‘dog friendly’ you could ever wish for! The park is situated in the Tranquil Coastal Hamlet of Eype on the slope of a valley leading to Eype beach (pronounced as in ‘peep’) a short stroll away. The park is quiet and relaxing, perfect for your next Coastal Get Away. We have a selection of one- and two bedroomed lodges. Dogs are allowed on Eype beach without restrictions. There are two mobility scooter and wheelchair-friendly lodges: the Luxury two bedroom Marine Suite lodge with enclosed garden, and one of our Summer Lodges is also wheel chair/ mobility scooter friendly. Please do call us to discuss your requirements. We are easily reached by land, sea or air- perfect for the comforts of home by the coast and especially if you don’t fancy that long haul trek further West! Solo Travellers welcome. We make a small charge of £20 for the first pet and £2 per additional pet, per booking.

Idyllic Coastal Walks

For breathtaking views and stunning walks, come and visit the the Dorset and East Devon Coast World Heritage Site which is England’s first natural World Heritage Site – known as ‘The Jurassic Coast’. It covers 95 miles of truly stunning coastline from East Devon to Dorset and its right on our doorstep. Bridport and West Bay are also within walking distance.

Great location

Village location

Eype itself is a pretty ‘olde’ English village believed to have been a smugglers haunt! An excellent pub, The New Inn, where dogs are welcome, and neighbouring ‘dog friendly’ ‘Smugglers’ bar open to non-residents.
