Gold Award Winning Beautiful Jurassic Coastal Lodges

Pets Come Free!

Please call 01308421521 for more details – we can always beat any online offer so it’s worth a call!

We are a private and peaceful self-catering, coastal lodge park.  The park is quiet and relaxing, perfect for your next coastal get away. We are situated in the tranquil village of Eype, in West Dorset, with the Jurassic Coast UNESCO World Heritage Site on your doorstep.

Eype (pronounced ‘Eep’) is full of quaint, thatched cottages, dating back to the 18th and 19th century, located just west of the bustling market town of Bridport and a little east of the fossiling homes of Charmouth and Lyme Regis. We are a pleasant and easy cliff walk away from the seaside town of West Bay, popularised in the ITV drama ”Broadchurch”. The park is just a short stroll away from the magical sand and shingle Eype Beach at the heart of the Jurassic Coast. Set in this beautiful location our holiday lets provide an ideal vacation for walkers, families, foragers and geologists. Please get in touch if you’d like to join a foraging tour – we have a deal with local forager Nick from www.grownupmushrooms.co.uk

Pets are permitted all year round on Eype beach. All our lodges have fully enclosed secure gardens. We are easily reached, just a short drive off the A35.

Golden Acre are pleased to join so many other companies by donating much needed funds to the Ukrainian appeal. We are also joining together with The New Inn, our village pub by providing goods to take to the borders.

Please do call us to discuss your requirements: our friendly welcoming team are only too happy to accommodate you.

Long stay, really nice Really friendly. Great for adults and dogs. Slept like a baby. Love it. Close to the beach. To the pub. No stairs. Nice lodge. The dehydrated food was great too! Ask in the shop, biscuits and ice cream too, lovely local produce. Can’t wait to go back to the acre.

Comfortable stay with friends for a few days Comfortable bungalows in a lovely spot. Lots of lovely walks nearby. A nice pub up the road : The New Inn. A nearby caravan site has a club house : Martin’s bar which you can also walk to. Bridport is a nice town to visit. Very quiet spot so would suit you if you like walking.

Another lovely holiday and Golden Acre This is the 14th time I have been to Golden Acre and as always the Marine Suite was clean, welcoming and very comfortable. If only there were somewhere on site to be able to wash and dry clothes without having to go into Bridport it would be truly perfect. Already booked for 15th time!!!

Dog friendly comfortable and peaceful lodges on a small park near Eype Beach. Excellent location for holidays with your dog. Lodges are well equipped and comfortable. The park is very quiet and peaceful. Within walking distance from Eype beach. Lovely country walks for the dog and a lovely pub nearby (New Inn) which is dog friendly and serves excellent food. Great location for days out to Lyme Regis, Charmouth and easy access to shops and food in Bridport. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would definitely come again.

Doggie perfect Clean, warm and cosy - well equipped and lovely for a short break in Dorset. A perfect place to stay if you have a four legged friend - only downside was having to go out of the front door to the side gate to let the dog into the garden. The best information book we have seen in any cottage we have stayed in. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

AVOID at all COSTS!! Total rip off! I’m not sure where to start we booked 2 days before arriving. For one week. Got there to what’s possibly smaller than a shepherds hut with concave sofas, marked stained furniture , mouldy beds with such bad wear that you simply cannot sleep. We wanted to leave the next day but stayed on for 2 days to find alternative accommodation. Still refused to even refund one night of a whole week. The place is horrific. Avoid no 11 especially and any Ammonite property listed elsewhere online as they seem to hide behind several names.

Eype is one of the quieter kittle coves on the coast. Golden Acre is very laid back and relaxing. I really liked it

We had the best stay at GA! The lodge was perfect - clean, quiet, walkable to the beach. The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks all. ❤️

Booked this last minute getaway so we only stayed here for 2 nights and wish we could've stayed for longer. Lovely cosy chalet style accommodation. We stayed in a one bedroom and requested a zed bed for our toddler which was perfect. The beds were comfy. Very well equipped and a nice complimentary of tea, coffee and biscuits which was a lovely touch and they even had treats for the dog. The little garden was ideal for the dog and I'm sure would be a nice place to relax in the warmer months. Location beautiful and just a short walk down to Eype beach. Great communication thoughtout with Tom. My partner also left his headphones in the room and didn't realise until we were back home. Tom thankfully found them and sent them back to us. So very honest and genuine, very grateful for that thankyou! Would definitely stay again and hopefully for longer next time 😃

Great holiday bungalows, very comfortable in a tucked away position, short walk to local pub and down to the pebble beach. Small onsite shop, staff are fantastic. Bungalows are clean, very comfortable beds, good WiFi and nice garden to sit out in with garden furniture. Kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook in, we ate at the local pub New Inn and got fish and chips another night from S & E fish and chips West Bay. We stayed in the Garden Suite, would definitely recommend if looking for a quiet get away. West Bay a short drive and Weymouth and Lyme Regis within easy reach.
