Terms and Conditions

Payments can be made online or over the phone using a credit or debit card. We also accept cheques made payable to A Speed of Wool Ltd.

Full Payment is required if your holiday is booked within 8 weeks of the start date. All holidays booked in advance require a deposit of 25% (£200 minimum), the balance is due 8 weeks before the start date. For holidays booked in advance for the following year, any balances due will be charged at the rate on the following year’s price list unless paid in full at time of booking.

Short Breaks of 3 nights (Fri-Mon) or 4 nights (Mon-Fri) available.

If you need to cancel your holiday for any reason, please inform us as soon as possible and we will endeavor to re-let the property. If we can re-let the property, we will refund your payment less a £50.00 administration charge. If we are unable to re-let the property, no refund will be made without prior agreement. We recommend you take out your own holiday insurance. Lockdown-affected bookings may be refunded or deferred for up to 12 months without penalty.

Please note: the number of people and pets may not exceed those stated at the time of booking.

Pets are welcome at Golden Acre Holiday Park, Eype. Pets must have up-to-date vaccinations and flea treatment completed, prior to arrival. Charges may apply, please call us on 01308421521 for details.

We ask our guests to keep the premises, furniture, and fittings in the same state of repair and condition as at the start of your holiday. If you find any damage on arrival, please report it to reception.

For the safety of all our guests, we ask that pets are kept on a lead and the park and enclosed gardens are kept clean.

Large Dorset Hamper upgrade available: Let us spoil you with champagne and flowers on arrival, fresh fruit and a large Dorset Hamper. Please contact us for details and please advise of any dietary requirements/allergies.

Grocery Deliveries: For your convenience, major supermarket online orders can be delivered to Golden Acre: Asda, Co-Op, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Tesco & Waitrose. There are several supermarkets in Bridport. Morrisons has a superstore 1.5 miles down the road from the park. Or try www.parsleybox.com for larder to microwave meals delivered to your bungalow. Also our loal Village pub www.thenewinneype.co.uk may be able to deliver cooked meals /afternoon teas etc please call 01308423254 directly.

Linens packs are included in the price of holiday bookings. Kitchen equipment is provided as is free Wi-Fi, utilities and on-site parking, in allocated bays. Two parking bays provided for larger two-bedroom properties The Marine Suite, The Garden Suite, The Jurassic Suite and The Jurassic Sea Pearl Suite & Spa. Call us if you will require a second parking space for our smaller 2-Bedrooom properties and we will do our best to provide you with a suitable space (subject to availability).

Golden Acre is a Non-Smoking Site: No smoking policy throughout the park and inside all lodges and entrance lobbies.

On-site Recycling facilities: Paper/Card, Plastics, Glass, Cans and General Waste Bins are found near Reception. Larger facilities are available at Morrisons car Park.

Photographic Competition: Please submit your entries to us by email. Winning Pets photos may be included in our social media or our next park calendar! Your permission to use any photos submitted is assumed, please let us know if you do not wish your photos to be included in our marketing/online and/or social media posts.
