Year Round Holidays on Dorset’s Beautiful Jurassic Coast

Gold Award Winners Dog Friendly Business of  the Year 2017/18 Dorset Tourism Awards. Bronze in the 2017/18 South West Tourism Excellence Awards. Finalists in 2018 Dog Friendly Business of the Year.

Golden Acre is a small peaceful self catering, private holiday bungalow park and is probably the most ‘dog friendly’ you could ever wish for! The park is situated in the Coastal Hamlet of Eype on the slope of a valley leading to Eype beach (pronounced as in ‘peep’) a short stroll away. The park is quiet and tranquil, perfect for that relaxing get a away by the coast. We have a selection of one- and two bedroomed bungalows. Dogs are allowed on Eype beach ‘all year round’. There are also two wheelchair-friendly bungalows: one Luxury two bedroom bungalow with enclosed garden and one Budget two bedroom bungalow with a large wet room. Please do call us to discuss your requirements. Click the Accommodation tab to find out about our bungalows and enjoy the’ walk through’ video.

Great location

Great location

Eype itself is a pretty ‘olde’ English village believed to have been a smugglers haunt! An excellent pub, The New Inn, where dogs are welcome, and hotel with a ‘dog friendly’ ‘Smugglers’ bar open to non-residents offer a warm welcome to all visitors whilst extending the English tradition of good food and ale.
